Requirements:
- Pentium 4, 1GHz
- 512 MB RAM
- ATI 9600, 9700 or 9800-based 3D graphics card (GeForce 5600 or better
should also work)
- BS Contact 6.1 VRML Browser
- Broadband internet connection
The beta may work to a greater or lesser degree on other graphics hardware.
If experiencing difficulties, press F9 to bring up the BS Contact
preferences, and try turning off various options in the OpenGL and Performance
options tabs.
The beta may work in VRML/X3D browsers other than BS Contact. However
users of Cosmo Player and Cortona should be aware that these browsers
will attempt to load the entire planetary texturemap, so you may experience
performance difficulties, texture memory overload, and the occasional
system crash.
Users meeting the requirements listed above should be able to run the beta at a usable performance level. If you experience any problems or bugs, please report them to us. |
